let me tell you mine..

My name is Skylar, and I own two deaf Australian Shepherds named Sunshine and Brie. Our house is located on a farm in Southwest Michigan. As a photographer, my passion for pet photography arose from the realization that I had very few pictures of my first dog after his passing. After that I began collecting tons of photos featuring my girls.

In December of 2021, upon moving to our new house, I got my hands on my first camera. But my photography journey started way before that. Since then, I have been captivated by the art form and rarely find a moment to put it down. I currently use a Canon R6, accompanied by my primary lenses, the 135mm & 70-200mm. Sunshine, my deaf Australian Shepherd, has proven to be an exceptional model over the past few years, and now I am so happy to be able to capture more remarkable pet moments.
